Panama City, Florida

Panama City is the county seat of Bay County, in the U.S. state of Florida. It is situated along St. Andrews Bay, which sits between the city and the Gulf of Mexico on the Florida panhandle's Emerald Coast.

Incorporated in 1909, the city by 2008 had a population of 37,188,and an metro area of 163,505. Its total area is 26.7 sq mi (69.1 km2), of which 20.5 sq mi (53.1 km2) is land and the remainder is over water.
